If you are looking for a country house wedding that is stunning and elegant, look no further than the stunning Clonwilliam House. The views over the rolling Wicklow countryside from the front terrace are breathtaking, and the couples and their guests enjoy exclusive use of the grounds and house. We were thrilled when John and Eabha asked us to share in their wedding here.
John started his morning at Clonwilliam House with a dip in the indoor swimming pool with his boys, as you do, while his bride enjoyed a swim in the sea before starting her bridal preparations in her beloved family mobile home. Clogga Caravan Park has been a place of pure happiness for Eabha and her family for 20 years, so there was no other place she wanted to start this new chapter. The wonderful Maria of Clogga spruced up the barn, before the crazy talented team at Victoriana Floral put the finishing touches to transform it to the perfect ceremony space. The Event Design Company were on hand to coordinate the many moving parts of this fantastic wedding, while the super talented Aimee Murphy and Lisa Shannon enhanced the bridal parties natural beauty. Eabha and her girls absolutely blew everyone’s breath away. The gorgeous crowns, stunning bridesmaid dresses and Eabha’s incredible Rosa Clara gown meant this bridal party were on fire! Not to mention the adorable Digsby in his little bow tie, who didn’t leave his mum’s side all morning!
It was no surprise that their wedding ceremony was interspersed with lots of beautiful music and singing – Eabha herself is a world-renowned singer. But it was the sheer joy and obvious affection between Eabha and John that tugged at everyone’s heart strings. And the cheeky Disgby deciding his mum’s wedding dress was the perfect bed had everyone in fits of laughter.
Before we headed back to Clonwilliam House to enjoy the champagne drinks reception on the terrace, we headed back to the caravan for one quick photo – Eabha insisted it be included! We had to continue those happy memories 😊
A breathtaking field of barley and equally gorgeous wild flower field backed on to Clonwilliam house, so we raced up to squeeze in some photos before all their wedding guests arrived. Once we heard the sound of clinking, we headed back down to celebrate amongst their friends and family. The sun shone, and the guests enjoyed sliders and canapes as the Clonwilliam house staff wove between them, ensuring everyone’s glass was topped up, and nibbles were at hand.
Thankyou Eabha and John for inviting us to be a part of such an incredible wedding.
