Contact Form

If you decide to get in touch by filling in the contact form you consent to mr using the details provided to reply to requests for information and provide a quotation for photographing your wedding.

Personal Data collected: first name, last name, email address, phone number, wedding date, wedding venue and getting ready locations.

Direct Email or Phone Call

If you prefer to get in touch via an email or telephone call to discuss you wedding, I’ll still ask for the same information from you, it just won’t be submitted via the website.

Typical Personal Data collected: first name, last name, email address, phone number, project address and outline of project details including an indicative budget for the works.

Once a Booking is Confirmed

Once you have confirmed the booking, I may need to request additional personal data from you in order to deliver the agreed level of photographic coverage.  This might include additional details about the wedding day, and extra contact information (names, phone numbers, addresses etc) for any friends or family who you’ve asked to act as event assistants, or are letting you use their home as one of the preparation or celebration venues.  Any additional personal information you provide will be treated as confidential, unless I need to share it with other suppliers (such as videographers) in order for them to provide their services or I are required by law to disclose it.

How is your Data Used?

I may use your information to:

  • provide a quotation for wedding photography services, as well as associated products such as prints and albums etc.
  • get back to you (if necessary) with some additional questions to allow me to finish putting my quote together
  • deliver my photography services as per my appointment contract
  • put you in touch with additional suppliers (such as videographers, florists etc) should you ask me for recommendations or to approach someone to ask about their availability on your behalf.  Please be assured that I will only ever pass on your details to other suppliers if you ask me to.
  • notify you of changes to my services should the extent of coverage be amended
  • send you communications which you have requested and that may be of interest to you and/or relevant to your wedding photography.

 

I review my retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. I am legally required to hold some types of information to fulfill my contractual and insurance obligations. I will hold your personal information on my systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with me.

Who has Access to your Data?

I will not sell or rent your information to third parties, and I will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

As I mentioned above, if you ask me for recommendations for other suppliers and to inquire about their availability on your behalf I may share certain details with them in order for them to contact you with a quote etc.  I will only ever share this information if you ask me to.

I adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of personal information.

SSL Connection

The weddingsbybutterfly.com website uses an SSL (https://) secured connection throughout, and Users will see the website pages marked as secure in their browser. All personal data exchange between the website and its Users happens over an SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures provided by the Let’s Encrypt service via my website hosting.

Password Protection and AntiVirus

All computer workstations, laptops and networked attached storage drives are password protected, with regularly updated passwords.  All workstations, laptops and networked attached storage drives are maintained with up to date AntiVirus and internet security protection.

Google Analytics

The services contained in this section enable me to monitor and analyze web traffic and can be used to keep track of User behavior.  Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google utilizes the Data collected to track and examine the use of this website, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services.  Google may use the Data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

Cloudflare Website Speed and Traffic Optimisation

This type of service allows this website to distribute content using servers located across different countries and to optimize speed and performance.  Which Personal Data are processed depends on the characteristics and the way these services are implemented. Their function is to filter communications between this website and the User’s browser.  Considering the widespread distribution of this system, it is difficult to determine the locations to which the contents that may contain Personal Information User are transferred.

CloudFlare is a traffic optimization and distribution service provided by CloudFlare Inc.  The way CloudFlare is integrated means that it filters all the traffic through this website, i.e., communication between this website and the User’s browser, while also allowing analytical data from this website to be collected.
